Integrated Magnetics (IM) is a division of the Integrated Technologies Group (ITG) of companies.
IM's focus is to design and / or build mission critical magnets and magnetic assemblies, primarily for the aerospace, energy, medical, R & D, semiconductor, and other industrial markets. We have strong capabilities in:
- Engineering - permanent magnet circuit design and modeling, design for manufacturability, design to cost, tool design, and manufacturing engineering.
- Quality Planning - operations methods sheets, gauging, statistical methods, and training built on a solid ISO 9001 based QMS.
- Supply Chain Management - we maintain strong SCM systems and qualify all critical raw material and process suppliers. Permanent magnet stock materials are sourced from the world's premier manufacturers.
- Magnet Fabrication - we fabricate custom magnets to virtually any shape and size using our in-house grinding and EDM facilities.
- Machining - in-house top-notch high precision machining of components for assemblies. Materials machined on a regular basis include all types of steels, aluminum, inconel, brass, copper, and plastics.
- Assembly - we manufacture all types of precision magnetic assemblies. Assembly facilities include class 1000 clean-rooms. Examples of magnetic assemblies we provide include high speed rotors, MRI components, medical components and devices, sputtering magnetrons, Halbach systems, down-hole tool components, linear and rotating motor and alternator components, and flight hardware components, amongst others.
- Inspection and Testing - our metrology lab capabilities include vision systems, CMMs, 3-D magnetic mapping, Helmholtz Coil testing, and precision dimensional measurement.
- Low-Cost-Region Manufacturing - when appropriate we can provide our customers with a cost reduction roadmap by controlled transition of production from USA to Mexico or China based production in our owned LCR plants.
- One-Stop Magnetics Solutions - through the ITG sister companies, we are a vertically integrated magnetics group, able to provide you with anything from a standard off the shelf magnet, to custom magnets, custom magnetic assemblies, and sophisticated custom electrical machines.
