Using 2-D or 3-D magnetics FEA analytical tools in conjunction with an understanding of the B-H curve, magnetic circuits, magnetic orientation, and other variables, assists internal and external customers in developing designs, from concept to prototype.

The PM is a strong hands-on Engineer who directs, coordinates, and takes responsibility for the planning, organization, control and completion of engineering projects and programs personally and / or through Business Teams. PM competencies and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Strong understanding of process, manufacturing methods, tooling, testing, inspection and quality assurance methods.

  • Design for Manufacture and Design to Cost.

  • Plans and implements engineering program, including defining the project goals, activities, milestones, and staffing per program requirements.

Senior Quality Engineer

Position Description:

Integrated Magnetics is seeking a hands-on Team Player to support its manufacturing operations in the position of a Senior Quality Engineer. The company has manufacturing operations in Culver City (California), Mexico and China. This position is based in Culver City.

  

Salary will be commensurate with background and experience.




Position Qualifications:

Successful candidates should have 5 plus years of experience and knowledge in the following areas:

 

  • Mechanical inspection – using CMM, VCMM, and other tools for high precision measurements
  • Strong background in G D & T
  • Gage R & R studies
  • Calibration systems
  • Able to interpret and complete Acceptance Test Procedures
  • Familiar with ISO 9000, AS 9100 QMS
  • Internal Audits
  • Working knowledge of SPC
  • Familiar with Six Sigma and other quality tools such as PFMEA, DFMEA, DOE, etc.

Must be able to coordinate internal and external audits and communicate effectively with internal and external customers.

Must have excellent skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio

Spanish is a strong plus.
